The Robe Institute is one of the region's most significant heritage buildings and has been at the heart of community life for generations.
The Robe Institute Heritage Preservation and Enhancement Sub‑Fund has been established in partnership between Stand Like Stone Foundation, the Friends of the Robe Institute and the District Council of Robe to support the long‑term preservation, enhancement and activation of this important community asset.
Donations to the fund will help preserve the building's heritage character, support restoration and conservation works, improve community access and contribute to activities that keep the Institute at the centre of community life.
An initial priority is supporting works to remove deteriorating render and restore the original stonework, revealing the building's historic fabric while helping address long‑term conservation issues. As the original stone is uncovered, it provides a powerful reminder of both the Institute's heritage and the enduring strength of the community that continues to support it.
The fund has been established with a long‑term vision. Contributions will not only help support priority projects today but also build a sustainable source of funding for the ongoing care and activation of the Institute for future generations.
All donations are administered by Stand Like Stone Foundation and are tax deductible.
